Shipping Information

Order Processing

All orders are processed within 1-2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays). You’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking information once your order ships.

Shipping Methods & Delivery Times

We offer two shipping options to meet your needs:

  • Standard Shipping ($12.95) – via DHL or FedEx
    • Delivery within 10-15 business days after shipment
  • Free Shipping – via EMS for orders over $50
    • Delivery within 15-25 business days after shipment

Note: We ship worldwide except to certain Asian countries and remote areas. International customers may be subject to customs duties and taxes, which are the responsibility of the recipient.

Returns & Exchanges

We accept returns of unworn, unwashed items with original tags attached within 15 days of delivery. Our goal is to make the process as seamless as our selvedge seams.

Important Exceptions: For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns of Hats. Additionally, all final sale items marked “Rigid” (our signature untreated selvedge denim) cannot be returned or exchanged due to their specialized nature.

How to Return or Exchange

Step 1: Initiate Your Return

Email our customer care team at [email protected] with:

  • Your order number
  • Item(s) you wish to return/exchange
  • Reason for return
  • Whether you prefer a refund or exchange

Sample Email:

Subject: Return Request for Order #12345

Dear Mother Denim Team,

I would like to request a return/exchange for my recent order (#12345).

Item(s) for return:
– 1x Bootcut Jeans in Rigid (Size 28)
– 1x Denim Jacket (Size S)

Reason: Size exchange needed/Item didn’t fit as expected

I would prefer: [Refund to original payment method / Exchange for size 29 in same style]

Step 2: Package Your Items

Once approved, repackage items securely with original tags attached. Include the original packing slip or a copy of your order confirmation.

Step 3: Ship Your Return

We recommend using a trackable shipping service. Send your return to:

Refund Processing

Once we receive and inspect your return:

  • Timeline: Refunds process within 5-7 business days
  • Method: Refunds are issued to your original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
  • Shipping Costs: Original shipping fees are non-refundable

Exchanges

For size exchanges (where available):

  • Follow the return process above
  • Note your desired replacement in your email
  • We’ll ship the new item once we receive your return
  • You’ll be responsible for additional shipping costs if exchanging for a lower-value item

International Returns

Customers outside the U.S. are responsible for return shipping costs and any applicable customs duties. We recommend declaring the package as “Returned Goods” to avoid additional charges.

Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective item, contact us immediately at [email protected] with photos of the issue. We’ll arrange a prepaid return label and expedite your replacement.
